MILANO VIALE PASUBIO

Reasons to visit Milan Viale Pasubio: In addition to visiting our beautiful store!

Viale Pasubio is part of the inner ring road, a ring of roads built immediately outside the Spanish walls. As such, it had always been an important road network.

At the eastern end of Viale Pasubio is the arch of Porta Garibaldi, at the western end of Porta Volta, opened in 1880 as access to the new cemetery and the new Comasina road (the current via Carlo Farini). In 1878 the avenue was already crossed by the tramway and was already surrounded by a dense construction.

At the end of the XIX century, the street bore the name of Viale di Porta Garibaldi, later changed to the current one in memory of Mount Pasubio, the scene of important military events during the First World War.
